"This 27 year old horse was brought to me by the owner in April 2018. It was identified that his problematic walking was due to acute suspensory ligament damage on his front legs and osteoarthritis throughout. He had always been barefoot but age was showing and I knew he needed extra support. I have used Glushu a lot, as they do not use nails they are completely non invasive and are the best alternative to barefoot I have come across.

Notice the low ankle height caused by ligament damage.

Glushu are excellent for modification and with this horse I chose to adapt the shoes to open toed. This gave hoof support and protection.

Pictures August 2018.This horse has been using Glushu for 4 months and there is already significant improvement. The leg swelling in both legs has subsided and his hooves are showing height increase. This horse now has no problems walking, runs well and has been able to return to open stable.

Again Glushu have saved the day!
