Glushu for a Shetland racer in Finland.

Thanks to our friends at Glushu Finland for sharing this story of a Shetland with fragile hooves who used Glushu glue on horse shoes to get her through the Winter.

"The Finnish Shetland pony racer "Comsu" received Glushu glue on horse shoes for Christmas. He has poor hooves that are brittle and fragile, and it was decided to try Glushu glue on horseshoes to make the hooves grow stronger.

The Glushu do not come in Shetland sizes as standard so there was a little work to do with the shoes as they had to be reduced to a small hoof (3 x0 Ravi Shoe). We were able to make them fit with a little shortening.

The Glushu were fitted and the shoes have stayed on well even in our snowy conditions. We were originally concerned about how the little stallion can walk with them, but it's been good.

Of course, we have not been able to drive hard, but with interest we are waiting to see how well the Glushu go over the next few weeks."
